| It's not really a new thing as cells have been around forever it's just that they claim to have cheaper ways to accomplish it without needing all those precious metals and such. All those things that hampered the cost vs. gain over the last decades. Even so, the return on investment is pretty tame right now while they are expensive to produce. Ebay and some of those other large companies are seeing results in bulk purchases especially with government/state subsidizing but we wont see anything on a smaller scale for some time. Some say 15-30 years ROI depending...not like power costs stay static over the years though so that's highly debatable. Of course, the whole selling point is that if/when units get down to much lower prices (the owner claims $3k some day, down from $800k), then it'd definitely pan out. Hell, even at $100k they'd pay for themselves much sooner. That remains to be seen however. I guess like anything, time will tell. In before the delete =)
